Lyn has been painting pottery most of her life. At age five, her mom took her to a traditional style ceramic studio. Over the years she continued to paint pottery enjoying every minute. After ten years working at a PYOP the opportunity presented itself to purchase the studio. You can usually find her rearranging the shelves and tormenting anyone who is not a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Brian is the person behind the workings of Kiln Born Creations. He makes magic happen in the kiln! Every piece of pottery painted at our studio is hand glazed by Brian to ensure that it will shiny and food safe. He's been in this industry for over 15 years. We're very fortunate to have his expertise .
Chrissy is the brains and talent behind most of our adult workshop pieces, and adult canvases. She also sends our monthly emails and takes the lead on marketing, group sales, to-go boxes, and fundraising.
Once upon a time a magical story teller came into Kiln Born Creations. Her name was Jen and she loved reading books and helping kids paint! Kids from all over the land came to hear Jen's fun stories. The kids loved her and she loved them, and from that day forward they lived happily every after.
A fun, friendly, and familiar face; Pam has been in the pottery industry since she was 14 years old! She now helps out with many workshops, ladies nights, and is great with customer service. Have a question about how things work? Pam likely has the answer!
Nancy is no longer our newest staff member. She is now running the studio like a pro and takes the lead on birthday parties when her schedule allows. She is also filling in as the lead for our children’s programs while Lexi is off at college.
Emily is the newest member of the Kiln Born crew and ready to jump right in by taking the lead as our glass connoisseur! She will now be the creator and instructor of most of the glass workshop pieces.
One of our go-to girls at the studio is now attending the College of Charleston in South Carolina and majoring in Arts Management. Gabi has the knowledge and talent behind her to run the studio and will be back with us during school breaks!
Lexi is currently attending college at the University of Delaware and getting her degree in elementary education. She will be back with us at Kiln Born during her time off from school. When she’s with us, she loves working with the children who attend Kid’s Night Out and summer camps, and the kids absolutely love her too!
Occasionally on Tuesdays, George and/or Zoo will be at the studio supervising the customers and staff. Earth will also sometimes make an appearance. They are quite friendly and enjoy attention. They'd love to have you come in to give them a quick pat or scratch behind the ears.
